Paying debts is one of the primary requisites of becoming prosperous. You can "pay as you go", "pay later with interest compounded", or, what might be considered the best option, "pay your debts before they are due" so as to keep them out of your mind and minimise their cost.
The questions then becomes "for what are you prepared to pay, and how can you use your understanding of how nature works to have all you want in your life?"
I was often told that I should "tithe" or "seed". However, I never really understood these terms, so I did some research and thanks to some great friends I now have a much better understanding. I'm putting it into practice so that I can experience the results.
The giving of money is a [kind of] spiritual experience. It also seems to have a power of its own. Understanding that power gives me more control over the process ... I can choose to do it or not. So what I intend is to share with you some of what I found.
So ... what is the difference between a "tithe" and "seed money"?
A tithe is your thanks to your God for what you have already received. Seed money is your thanks for that which you shall receive.
A tithe is a gift after you have made Income (giving thanks to your God before paying the tax collector). Seed money is the seed you plant, the investment you make with your God.
Money only has value as a medium of exchange, when exchanged, in circulation, it has a power, an energy TO DO. Money, as energy, is a means of doing "good".
In the giving of money, we first give to ourselves (acknowledging that there is a spirit or a God within each of us). We can then give to some other entity (such as an organisation like GENI, a charity, a church, or another human being). In so doing we tithe or seed to the spirit without. In giving thanks to your God, without denial of yourself, you can receive of its wealth.
One of the concepts that I found compelling was:
In choosing to give thanks (tithing or seeding money) to wherever it will do good, to help and to aid our fellow human beings, we not only have the right and the privilege, we also have the DUTY of claiming a tenfold money return so that we may do still greater good.
Claiming the return is therefore an important part of the process.
