Endesa has connected a new photovoltaic solar farm
in the La Redonda industrial park in western Almeria,

a totalled installed capacity of 700KW, which could
lead to annual savings in CO2 emissions of 1,170 tons.
An investment of over E4.5 million was made in the
project, which is is part of Endesa's strategy to
invest in renewable energy, particularly photovoltaic
solar energy, as a source of power production, with
the aim of reducing greenhouse gas emissions. It also
forms part of its commercial policy aimed at the integrated
management of energy projects promoted by its customers.
Cecilio Manas, promoter of the solar farm, said:
"This type of initiative, which has been undertaken
jointly with Endesa Energia, which will provide further
support in the future, highlights these companies'
commitment to the environment."
