Global
Power - the Electric Hypergrid is Cover Story
in the New Scientist Magazine
Dear GENI
Friend,
With your
support, we have worked for the past ten years to
create a credible global discussion of this project.
Last month's milestone was the cover story, Global
Power - the Electric Hypergrid in the New
Scientist magazine. This is a big deal,
and we have clearly been recognized at a new level.
Your contribution has helped to put us there.
This month,
GENI entered yet another new league. Enclosed is the
invitation from Mikhail Gorbachev to participate in
the State
of the World Forum next month in San Francisco.
If the invite alone were not enough, you can see that
he has gathered some of the world's top business people,
scientists, strategic thinkers, and past and present
policy-makers.
The opportunity
to spend four days with 300 world leaders is very
exciting and a perfect place for GENI to become
highly visible. We are sending all the Forum delegates
our information this month, so they will be familiar
with this global solution even before the event.
This is
a golden opportunity, and we could use your extra
support this month to cover the cost of several thousand
dollars to attend. Please call Patricia Stevens or
me if you can help fund all or part of GENI's participation
in the We are
clear that all of your
support over the years has allowed us to reach
this point. Thank you for enabling us to bring this
vision to the world in the most credible and appealing
manner. We could not do this work without you.
You partner
for the planet,
Peter Meisen
