Buckminster
Fuller's ideas live on!
Dear GENI
Friend,
Buckminster
Fuller was the inspiration for The GENI Initiative.
I had the opportunity to hear him speak two times:
first as a high school student who knew little about
the world, and twelve years later at a Hunger Project
board meeting where I hung on each word.
Bucky was
a visionary engineer working to design systems
and tools that would enable all humanity to experience
a quality living standard. When I learned that the
energy grid is the World Game's
highest priority objective , I was both stunned
and inspired.
Now his
archives are becoming more available to the public
at Stanford University in Palo Alto. There are several
web sites that continue to add value to this resource.
I suggest four:
You can
help bring these ideas to the stage! Attached is the
announcement on the World Premiere of R
Buckminster Fuller: The History (and Mystery) of the
Universe. It is scheduled for March
- April at the San Diego Repertory Theater. We have
been working with the producers to make this a success
and then travel to cities around the world.
Imagine if people hear that there's enough to go
around and truly understand it?
In partnership
for the planet,
Peter Meisen
President
