Report from Board Retreat: Search for Executive Director for GENI

GENI has grown dramatically stronger as a result of the two day Board Retreat last week. We participated in a process that combined all our thinking -- moving us forward more powerfully than we can yet realize.

Evident to all is that a new Executive Director is needed. I did not create GENI to be a business, but our structure and focus demand someone with strong business skills. If we hope to really change the world, the organizational needs of GENI must now be met.

Graeme Edwards has essentially filled these shoes for the past five months, but he must return to Brisbane. By finding a strong marketing/fund raising/systems executive, I would hope my time and energy could again be used to its highest advantage.

Please inform your associates/networks that GENI is actively searching for an Executive Director in the international office in San Diego. The candidates must bring outstanding talents to run the "business" of GENI: global marketing, fund raising, financial management, organizational direction, computer systems and strategic planning.
