Prior to the recent climate conference in Madrid,
millions of young people around the world walked from their classrooms to
demand action. 16 year old Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg struck a
nerve by saying:
"I don't want your hope.
I want you to panic, and
act as if the house is on fire."
Time is running out – or if you are unlucky
you have already felt the wrath of our changing climate.
UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres,
warns us that "we are losing the race." He challenges
every nation, city and citizen to take a stand – committing to a rapid shift to
renewable energy for generating power and away from fossil fuels... plus planting
billions of trees on every continent.
