Dear GENI Friend,
Your project has begun the year with several exciting
developments. I often wish you could spend a few days
in the office with us to experience the daily progress.
Last week, GENI received requests for information
from the Israeli
Electricity Council and the Iceland
State Electricity Works. From our communication
to the delegates of the Americas
Summit in Miami last month, we have recently received
thank you letters and further requests from the Prime
Minister's of Chile, Guyana, Guatemala, Belize and
Canada.
The credibility and benefits of interconnection are
being welcomed by policy makers in many countries.
If you have a specific representative you would like
us to contact, please let our office know and we will
send along the full GENI package.
Enclosed is an excerpt from a book you may want to
buy for your own library, The
Last Book You'll Ever Read by Frank Ogden.
Given to me as a Christmas present, I was stunned
and elated to find the Global Energy Grid project
listed as one of The Ten Most Responsible
and Visionary Developments of the Next Century. Frank
Ogden, a syndicated columnist under the name Dr.
Tomorrow , is advocating Fuller's proposal to audiences
around the world.
Your continued
support enables us to do this work. Please share
these results with all your friends and associates
since you have made them possible.
In partnership for the planet,
Peter Meisen
President
