London's Royal Institute for International
Affairs, NOVEM's Energy Conversion
Days , Sustainable Development article
Dear GENI Friend,
The most important presentation
on the energy issue I've ever heard in my 30 years
in the business. Last week, that was
the response from one expert after my talk at London's
Royal
Institute for International Affairs (RIIA).
Comments like these indicate we still offer some of
the best strategic
thinking on the subject.
The following day, NOVEM (The Netherlands
Energy and Environmental Agency) hosted Energy
Conversion Days where The GENI Initiative was
again presented. The Dutch have demonstrated their
commitment to renewable energy, and many delegates
were quite enamored with the Energy Grid Initiative.
So, for all your friends in Holland, enclosed is our
first translation of The
GENI Initiative into Dutch.
Another article was featured in Sustainable
Development Magazine, published in the
UK. The precessional affects from these meetings
will continue for some time. One of my observations
of Europe — the proximity of borders and
languages causes a much greater international
awareness and recognition of their inter-relatedness.
As a contributor to this work, we want to make sure
you have input to the GENI
Board of Directors. Our Annual Board
Meeting is in February, so we welcome your ideas,
referrals and reports to our leadership. Please write
down your comments and send them via mail, fax or
e-mail. We will compile your response for the meeting.
Thank you so much for your support this past year!!!
As with the gentleman from RIIA, we believe The GENI
Initiative is the trimtab
project to enhance world peace while reducing pollution,
poverty and overpopulation. Your contribution makes
this effort possible.
Thank you and have a wonderful holidays!
In partnership for the planet,
Peter Meisen
President
