AEG to install 450MW of PV capacity in Pakistan

AEG will construct a 400MW and a 50MW PV project in Cholistan, Pakistan, media reports have revealed.

According to news site Pakistan Today, Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif revealed that the 50MW PV plant will become operational in June 2013 while the 400MW project is also expected to be completed within a year.

The minister also stated that AEG will produce electricity from its facilities at US$0.18 per unit after the government failed to strike a deal for US$0.22 per unit.
