Azerbaijan considers Russian energy grid's cooperation

The Azerbaijani government is considering seriously
RAO UES [Unified Energy System of Russia] proposals
concerning cooperation in the electric power industry.
At a recently held presentation, the Russian company
offered its willingness to manage Azerbaijan's energy
network, improve its generating capacity and modernize
the Mingacevir and Ali-Bayramli power plants, Day.az
has quoted Yuriy Shchedrin, the head of the Russian
trade representative office in Azerbaijan, as telling
journalists on the sidelines of the meeting organized
by the Caspian Integration Business Club (CIBC).
