GENI is the Global Energy Network Institute, a
non-profit research and education organization founded
in 1991. Based on the thinking of visionary engineer
Buckminster Fuller, we focus on the priority solution
from the World
Game simulation of three decades ago. The World
Game asked the core question, "How do we make
the world work for 100% of humanity in the shortest
possible time through spontaneous cooperation without
ecological offense or disadvantage to anyone?"
The highest global priority? Our focus is the electrical
interconnection of power grids between regions and
continents with an emphasis on tapping local and
remote renewable energy resources.
The GENI Initiative promotes the implementation
of this strategy with all national leaders on each
continent. GENI works to inform
all people of this strategy via the media and
