Geothermal Energy in Poland

Geothermal resources, operating amd planned geothermal plants in Poland (geothermal division after Sokolowski, 1995)

Poland has large low-enthalpy resources connected with extensive sedimentary geothermal provinces covering 80% of the whole area.
The terrestrial heat flow values amount to 20-90 W/m2, while geothermal gradients are in the range of 1-4oC/100m.
