GLOBAL ENERGY NETWORK INSTITUTE

a solution to global problems

24 September 1997

GENI Head Office Moves to World Trade Center of San Diego

Dear GENI Friend,

GENI has moved up in the world -- to the World Trade Center of San Diego! For the past seven years Sandy Shapery has supported GENI as our landlord, and we would not have produced our results without his generosity. But the opportunity of being in The World Trade Center came along and we grabbed it. GENI, after all, is a proposal for world trade in electricity! The benefits being more peace and prosperity with less pollution and population.

The next time you are in San Diego, please come visit us at:

The World Trade Center of San Diego

1250 6th Avenue, 9th Floor

San Diego, CA 92101

(all phone, fax, e-mail and mailing PO Box numbers remain the same)

We have once again been invited by Mikhail Gorbachev to attend The State of the World Forum in San Francisco (November 1997). This event was created to explore new post Cold War strategies for the next millennium. As you will see, there are many Forum attendees who have strongly endorsed The GENI Initiative as a critical solution.

In the past two Forums, we have introduced this project to: Costa Rican President Oscar Arias, US Secretary of State James Baker, US Senator Alan Cranston, Richard Leakey, National Security Advisor Zbignev Breszinski, Australian Ambassador Richard Butler, Egyptian First Lady Jehan Sadat, Stephen Covey (7 Habits), John Naisbitt (Megatrands) and Mikhail Gorbachev.

This time, GENI has been offered a half-price scholarship, which allows us to attend for $2,500.

We need your help! For a $50 contribution (or more) we're offering a special tribute poster of Buckminster Fuller by the Thonet Corporation. It's 3 x 1.5 feet with a picture of Bucky, his signature, and drawings of the Dymaxion Car, Dome, Home and Map. You will love it!

Enclosed is a simple order form to send or fax to us. Thank you so much for helping to bring this premier global strategy for peace and sustainable development to the key business leaders and thinkers of the State of the World Forum. Our persistence is getting their attention!

In partnership for the planet,

Peter Meisen
President
