GENI
currently is funded mostly by individuals who have
an interest in providing electricity to the 2 billion
people on the planet who have none. They see this
as the prime priority for our planet and wish to
help accelerate the process.
Our
donors have expressed the desire to leverage their
money to make a difference in the world. Most contribute
to GENI on a monthly basis.
Our
largest individual contribution was by a businesswoman
from Honk Kong, for about US$120,000. Her desire
is for her children to grow up in a cleaner, safer
and more prosperous world for all.
